GRANBURY - Dewey Ray Christopher, 96, passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2019.
Memorial Service: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Private Graveside.

Ray was born June 23, 1923, in Comanche, Okla.to Dewey and Ruth Christopher. On Feb 11, 1942 in Kearney, Neb., Ray married his high school sweetheart, Nelda Massey, and the two were together until her passing in 2004.
Ray proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II from 1941 to 1945. He was recently honored for his service by having the Professional Development Center at RAF Milden Hall in England renamed for him in his honor. Ray retired from American Airlines after 41 years as an airline mechanic.
Survivors: Son, Gary Christopher and wife, Peggy; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
