Elizabeth Stuart King, 96, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020. Elizabeth "Liz" was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, on October 5, 1923. She was one of four daughters of Christine and Solly Buck, all predeceasing her. Elizabeth graduated Valedictorian from St. Francis Xavier Catholic School in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and went on to have careers at LeTourneau Technologies, Vicksburg, Ms.; Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan, Canada; home construction, building 42 homes in Atlanta, Georgia. She later retired to a more quiet life with Robert King in Vicksburg, Ms. Elizabeth exemplified a great Southern Lady who lived life with tenacity and style. She is an amazingly strong role model for her granddaughters. "Liz" moved to Granbury in 2009 and assimilated into the Pecan Plantation Bridge community making many friends here. Liz "Nanny," as she was known to her family, had a love that knew no bounds, and she will be greatly missed.

Elizabeth has survived her first husband, Jerome Costello, and her second husband, Robert E. King. Elizabeth is survived by her two sons, Jerome "Jerry" Loftin and Michael "Mike" Loftin. Six grandchildren, James D Loftin, Chaz S. Loftin, Corrie Elizabeth Courville, Steffanie Weimer, Sarah Curtis, and Timothy Reuben Thirteen great-grandchildren, Landon Ladd, Makenzie Loftin, Kaydence Loftin, Leo Gonzalez, Jaycee Courville, Hannah Decker, Owen Curtis, Kendal Curtis, Alexandra Reuben, Andrew Reuben, Adrian Reuben, Triton Reuben, and Atlas Reuben. Beloved nieces, Susan Holman, and Dottie Murray and many greatnieces and nephews. Celebration of Life for Elizabeth "Liz" King TBA.
