Emma Lou Tullos, 82, of Tolar, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019. Service: 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 12, 2019, Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury, Interment: Strouds Creek Cemetery, Tolar, Visitation: 6:00 PM -8:00 PM, Wednesday, September 11, 2019, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Strouds Creek Cemetery Pavilion Fund, c/ o Clara Billings, 2301 Billings Road, Tolar, Texas 76476.
Emma was born on May 28, 1937 in Tolar, Texas to Ima Lorie Perry and Joe Quannah "Slim"Cherry. She graduated from Tolar High School. She was a resident of Tolar, Texas for over 70 years and a member of First Baptist Church, Tolar. She worked as a caregiver for many years. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Jo Hard, Gene Cherry, J.Q. Cherry, and Tressie Davis.
Emma is survived by her children: Randy Tullos, Robert Tullos and wife Lisa, and Brenda Tullos, grandchildren: Kyle Tullos and wife Amanda and Shi Anna Tullos, great-grandchildren: Preslee, Lynlee, and Landon, sisters: Clara Billings and husband Harold, Marie Lewis and husband Doug, Susie Campbell and husband Malcolm, Shirley Reneau and husband Larry, and Dee Hague and husband Gayle, and sisters-in-law: Judy Tullos and Kathie Cherry.
