Farah Vaughn, 81, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019 in Fort Worth. Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Farah was born May 22, 1938 in Tehran to Gholamhosien and Mahin Taj Zarrabi. After high school, she studied French in Paris, France and then attended nursing school in England. She worked as a Registered Nurse at the American Hospital in Paris for a few years then returned to Iran and worked at the American Hospital of Tehran. In 1975, she married Bill Vaughn who worked for Bell Helicopter International in Iran. They returned to the United States in 1979 and lived in Arlington for 21 years before moving to Granbury in 2001.
Preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Bill Vaughn and daughter Nikki Wells.
Survivors: Sons, Keith Vaughn (Leslie), Jeff Vaughn and Chuck Vaughn (Kim); daughter-in-law, Mary Vaughn; brothers, Farshad Zarrabi (Soraya), Farhad Zarrabi (Susan) and Ali Zarrabi (Nazi); sisters, Farideh Farjami (Abol) and Fati Zarrabi; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
