Frank William Novak, 82, passed peacefully into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Granbury, Texas, with Rev. David Schatte officiating.

Frank lived in Lansing, Illinois, until he graduated from DeVry Technical Institute in Chicago in May 1958 with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Electronic Technology. He was immediately hired by Convair (now Lockheed-Martin) in Fort Worth as an instrumentation technician where he worked on the B-58 program as well as the F-111 and F-16 programs. He also worked for an oil field services company for a number of years and finished his working days as an electronic technician on the Technical Services Support Contract that Raytheon Corporation had with the Federal Aviation Administration.

Frank William Novak and Karen Elizabeth Johnson were united in marriage on September 20, 1958, at St. John Lutheran Church in Lansing, Illinois, and immediately made their home in Fort Worth, Texas.

In addition to his family, Frank loved hunting and fishing as well as photography.

Frank is survived by his wife of 61 years, Karen; son Michael and his wife Sheila; daughter Kathi Fowler and her husband Michael; granddaughter Wendy Swindle and her husband Doc; grandson Jeffrey Novak; granddaughter-in-law Ashley Resecker, and 9 great-grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Louise Nowak; grandson Curtis Resecker; and great-grandson Tanner Resecker.
