Joel Jarvis Britt, 88, of Granbury passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020.
Joel was born on January 30, 1932 in Hood County Texas and lived all of his life in Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father Joel Obe Britt and his mother Judy Roena Ingram Britt. He was also preceded in death by his brother Eugene Britt.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ometa Ruth Marrs Britt and his three children, Darla Britt Markum, Steve Britt, and Michael Britt. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held on May 12, 2020 at 11:00 am until 6:00 pm at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
The family will have a graveside ceremony at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at the Family Cemetery in Thorp Spring. Due to current conditions, please honor very close family for graveside.
