Karen Jones

Karen Joye Eubank Jones of Pecan Plantation passed away Wednesday April 24, 2019. Karen was born in Mo-cane, Oklahoma on June 1, 1940 to Woodrow and Irene Eubank. She met Darrell Jones on April 7, 1959 and after a short courtship, they married on August 28, 1959.

In May of 1963, Darrell joined the Air Force. She pinned 2nd Lt. bars on him on August 6, 1963. As an Air Force Officer wife. She held all the key positions from President to Thrift ship manager. She made a difference in the lives of every acquittance.

Son Craig arrived March 1966, and son Chris arrived August 25,1968.

Karen lived in 9 different states and two countries, and visited all 50 states and 11 countries.

The last 40 years of her life she fought through several different medical problems, never letting her problems stop her from being a wonderful wife, mother, and friend.

She is survived by husband, Darrell of 59+ years, son Craig and wife Astrid and family, of Benbrook, Texas, and son Chris and wife Antina and family of Wahoo, Nebraska

The family asks that donations be made to the Pecan Plantation EMS in lieu of flowers. A celebration of life will take place at the Pecan Plantation Country Club on May 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
