Karla Grace Marlow, 60, of Granbury was called home to heaven on Thursday, May 23, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Karla was born in Fort Worth, TX on May 14, 1959 to Tom and LaNell Bailey.
She spent her early years in Midland, TX before moving to Granbury in 1984.
Karla spent many years in the land surveying and caregiving industries in and around Granbury. She was passionate about good food, shopping, music, and bringing a smile to others, but her strongest passion was the deep love she had for her family.
Karla was preceded in death by her father, Tom Bailey, and is survived by her mother, LaNell Bailey of Granbury, TX, two sons Michael Marlow and wife Amanda of Benbrook, TX, Russell Marlow and wife Diane of Frisco, TX, sister Suzanne Parker and husband Kent of Granbury, TX and niece Shannon Thomas and husband Sean of Granbury, TX. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Kellie Marlow, Brayton Marlow, Kinley Marlow, Bailey Marlow, Hayden Marlow, and Colson Marlow, great nephew Cooper Thomas and great niece Kaselyn Thomas. She is also survived by James Jordan, a dear friend of hers and the family.
A memorial service was held at the Historic White Chapel at Acton United Methodist Church in Acton, TX on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 2pm. Interment will be at the Santa Anna Cemetery in Santa Anna, TX.
