Mary Richardson passed away at her home in Gran-bury on February 9, 2019. She was born in Grosse Tete, Louisiana, on August 3, 1925, daughter of Philip and Linda Webre.
Two sisters were Lynn Marler who passed away in 2018, and Martha Guillory from Ragley, Louisiana. She married Henry Richardson in 1945, and they had two daughters: Molly Walker and Polly Downs. Henry died in 1971 from lung cancer, and Mary settled in Seven Points on Cedar Creek Lake where they had built their retirement home. She later relocated to Arlington and became a tour guide for Dan Dipert. For 25 years she toured every state and made a lasting group of friends.
She also traveled with family and friends visiting several countries including Ireland, England, and India where her Methodist group met Mother Teresa.
She loved her family and friends and was there on a moment’s notice to help out when needed. For that reason she will always be remembered for the way she demonstrated the love of God through her love for others.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Molly and Polly, son-in-law, George Downs, 4 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She was blessed by a great- great-grandson in 2017, and a great- great- granddaughter due in August.
Celebration of Life will be held at Papadeaux’s in Fort Worth from 1:00-2:30 for family and 2:30-4:00 for friends.
