Our beloved Michael James Pruitt, 48, passed from this life, Sunday, June 16th. He was the son of Herman Pruitt and Cheryl Swaim. He was born in Stephenville, Texas on July 18, 1970. Mike lived most of his life in Granbury, where he graduated from GHS in 1988. He was a master plumber for more than 20 years, working for the family business, Pruitt Plumbing & Repair.
Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Swaim, Grandparents, Raymond and Peggy Swaim and uncle Martin Swaim. He is also preceded in death by his Uncle Clifford Pruitt.
He is survived by his eldest son, Tristen Ryder Cress of Corpus Christi, Texas and children Michael Rein, Dakoda James Pruitt and stepdaughter Amy White along with their mother Staci Rae of Tomball, Texas, his Father, Herman Pruitt and stepmother, Carol Pruitt of Granbury, his siblings Russell and wife Stacey Pruitt of Granbury, Heath Pruitt of Missouri, Heather and husband Bobby Buck of Granbury, Michelle and husband Tim Stevens of Arkansas, Amanda and husband Clayton Gordon of Tennessee, his grandmother Illa Faye Payne of Waxahachie and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Wiley's Funeral Home in Granbury, Texas will be handling the services. A visitation will be held Friday, June 21st at 1:00PM followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm. Internment immediately following at Holly Hills Cemetery in Granbury.
