Norma Jean Thompson, 64, of Granbury, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020 in Fort Worth. An inurnment will be scheduled at a later date at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Norma's name to the American Cancer Society.
Norma was born on July 14, 1955 in Corona, California to Robert and Bobbie Jean Tagg. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, family vacations, and sister trips. You could often find her playing slots, whether it was on a handheld device or a quick trip to Vegas. She loved being outdoors camping and fishing, but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, by the pool.
Norma was preceded in death by her grandson Shawn Christopher Allen; mother Bobbie Bankhead Tagg; father Robert Tagg, Sr.; and brothers Robert Tagg Jr., Jim Tagg, and Bill Tagg.
Norma is survived by her husband, Stephen Thompson; daughters, Cindy Goss and husband Brad, Janie Allen and husband Shawn, and Stephanie Martinez and husband Archie; grandchildren, Haley (Cody), Ty, Paige, Dalton and Presleigh; sisters, Dorothy Henricks, JoAnn Vinsant and husband Greg; brother, Don Tagg and wife Dolores; and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other loving extended family members.
