Pat Carlos Greever

Pat Carlos Greever, 77, of Granbury, Texas passed away on Tuesday October 23, 2018. Services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Lakeside Baptist Church in Granbury where Pat has been an active member for the past two years. Pat was born on July 21, 1941 in Edinburg, Texas to Ola (Sasser) and T.L. Greever as the youngest of three children. He was raised in McAllen, Texas, graduated from McAllen High School and later received his bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University. Upon graduation, Pat became a successful Real Estate Agent in Lubbock, Texas. Pat married his wife of 20 years, Ruth Mulder, on July 17, 1998 in McKinney, Texas. An avid fisherman who loved sports and spending time with his family, he also enjoyed pro football, college football and rarely missed any of his grandchildren’s games. His love of music was evident when he sang in high school as a member of the Texas All-State Choir and continued to into his adulthood as he sang in numerous church choirs. Pat was preceded in death by his parents Ola and T.L. Greever as well as his sister Jane Garfield. Pat is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Greever and his children including: Taylor Leslie Greever- Smith and husband Kevin of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Thomas Laurence Greever and wife Hannah of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; step children: Tamara White and husband Robbie of Richardson, Texas, Tania Blohm and husband Doug of Granbury, Texas as well as twenty grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and his brother: Jack Greever of McKinney. Pat, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather will be greatly missed.
