Ricky Lynn Copeland passed away at home peacefully on September 9, 2019 with his wife by his side.
He was born to G.W. Copeland and Peggy Jean (Gray) Copeland on June 4th, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas.
He graduated from Western Hills High School. He moved to Granbury in 1976. He loved to ride dirt bikes, hunt and tinker around with motors and anything that looked like a challenge.
Most of his wonderful friends he met was while he managed Matlock Tractor for 17 years. He married Shelly Jeanette Rager and had 2 children, Gregory Wayne Copeland and Kristy Lynn Copeland.
In 1996, he married Kristie Lee (Stewart) Copeland and had one step daughter, Katrena Lynn Barr.
He was proceeded in death by his dad, G.W. Copeland and his step dad, Charles Rex Covert.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years Kristie Copeland, his mother Peggy Covert, son Gregory Copeland and wife Heather, daughters Kristy Copeland and Josh, Katrena Reeves and husband Justin, Cari Brillhart and Trent. Grandchildren Roper, Austin, Alexis, Braxton, Paisley, Tripp, and Dalton. He had many kids who called him dad and paw-paw that he dearly loved. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many many friends.
A memorial service will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on 2019-09-20 at Crossing Place Church , 1900 W Hwy 377, Granbury, TX, USA.
