GRANBURY - Robert Knuth ended his 3-year battle with ALS on March 25, 2020, at his home in Granbury, Texas. Robert H. Knuth was born in Cleveland, Ohio, February 4, 1939 to Eleanor and Harry Knuth of Euclid, Ohio. His father was a well-known commercial greenhouse owner, city councilman, and eventual mayor of Euclid, Ohio.

After graduating from Euclid High School, Bob received his degree from Bowling Green State University and his master's degree from Indiana University. While at Bowling Green, Bob was president of both his senior class and his fraternity.

Bob began his 36-year career in education as a coach and teacher at Forest Park Junior High in Euclid and then at Euclid High School. Later he was a basketball coach and teacher at Brush High School in Lyndhurst, Ohio. He began his administrative career in Ohio at Orange High School in Pepper Pike; at Brunswick High School in Brunswick; at Midpark High School in Middleburg Heights and ended his administration career in Euclid at his alma mater.

He will be fondly remembered for his quick wit and his entertaining antics. His children will remember him for his fun nature and deep affection.

He and Diana, his wife of 41 years, traveled frequently with her students to France and solo trips to other countries in Europe and throughout the U.S. He had a deep love of politics, music, reading, history and sports.

Bob is survived by his wife, Diana; daughter, Rebecca and husband, Shaun Wildman; son, Todd Knuth; grandsons, Troy Knuth and Josh Wildman. And, of course, his beloved dog Teddy.
