Sue McClain, 84, of Granbury, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019. Graveside service: 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 21, 2019, Holly Hills Memorial Park.
Sue was born on June 18, 1935 in Fort Worth, Texas to Edgar and Essie Forsythe. She was graceful and beautiful in spirit. She married Orvel McClain on July 28, 1972 in Fort Worth, Texas.
She was a wonderful wife and she was known to her children as the most precious mom. Sue loved the Lord and she was a member of Church of God. She spent her last years on earth praising the Lord and reading the Bible.
Sue loved to oil paint. She was Artist of the Month two times in Granbury. Her paintings "Longhorns of Texas"were displayed at First National Bank for a month. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a nephew.
Sue is survived by her husband of 47 years: Orvel McClain, children: Kim Mack, Keith Arnold and wife Carla, and Marlene Coby, grandchildren: Michelle Brownlee, Chad Adams and wife Jaymie, Mandy Ross and husband Larry, Ty Anderson, and Jimmy Williams, great-grandchildren: Blake, Cody, Colton, Ethan, Dawson, Payton, Kiersten, Bayley, and Ayden.
