Theodore Nathan Hunnicutt, 79, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019. Graveside service: 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 15, 2019, Evergreen Cemetery, Lipan, Visitation: 5:00 PM -7:00 PM, Friday, June 14, 2019, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
Theodore was born on May 14, 1940 to Frank and Nancy Hunnicutt, the 11th of 12 children. He was a dedicated dozer operator for T.A.W., a part of the startup at Comanche Peak, and a Mason at the Valley Mills Lodge. He loved dancing, hunting and fishing. He reminded his family of the Marlboro Man.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Doyle Covey, Louie Covey and J. B. Covey, Wiley Hunnicutt, Floyd Hunnicutt, Martin Hunnicutt, Norma Hunnicutt, Laura Hunnicutt, Irene Raye and Lorene Barrington.
Theodore is survived by his children: Rick Hunnicutt, Brenda Hunnicutt Lee and husband Dain, Brian Hunnicutt and girlfriend Amber and Cathy Hunnicutt Lunsford and husband Travis, grandchildren: Randy Hunnicutt, Kyle Hunnicutt, Brandon Hunnicutt, Patrick Howard, Caitlain Andrus, Brooke Lunsford, Jake Hunnicutt, Jordan Lunsford, and Katy Lunsford, great-grandchildren: Catherine Hunnicutt, Rustin Hunnicutt, Tripp Lunsford, Dakota Hunnicutt, Lane Hunnicutt, and Ryleigh Curry, brother: L.J. Hunnicutt and wife Jo Ann, Jimmy Burns, Crystal Russell and numerous nieces and nephews.
