Timothy Richard Trail

Timothy Richard Trail 67, died Friday, August 9, 2019 at his home in Granbury, Texas.

Mr. Trail was born in Coral Gables, Florida, the son of the late Richard Wheeler and Eleanor Chap-pell Trail. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served his country in the U.S. Marines. He was a graduate of Tarleton State University. Mr. Trail worked in the nuclear plant power industry for over twenty years. The different job titles he held were Quality Control Supervisor, Pre-Operational Testing Supervisor, and Licensing Engineering. After retiring from the nuclear plant power industry he became the owner of Commercial Maintenance Co. that built and remodeled retail stores in the Texas area. He later started the charity bikes4kids which repaired donated bikes and gave them to children in need. He loved kids and loved to teach them about the importance of education. He helped many children to apply and get financial assistance so that they could have the opportunity to go to college.

Mr. Trail was preceded in death by his sister Christina Sizemore of Miami Florida.

Survivors include his daughters Katrina (Brian) DeRespiris of Concord, OH and Christy (Bradley) Varner of Evensville, TN, grandchildren Hannah, Zachary, and Carley DeRespiris and Noah, Nate, and Ruby Varner, sisters Elizabeth Lawrence of Longmont, CO, Martha McClenaghan of Jefferson, OH and Catherine Swafford of Spring City, TN and brothers Mark Trail of Tyrone,-GA, and Matthew Trail of Spring City, TN.

Funeral services were held on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Pastor Keath Butt officiating. Interment with military honors was in the Spring City Cemetery. The family will received friends Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home. A memorial service in Granbury, Texas will be held at a later date.
