Todd crossed over to his eternal life with Jesus on June 21, 2019 at the age of 42 in Granbury, TX. Waiting for him was his Grandma “Punkie” Perrin and his biological father James Sergeant.

Todd was born in Ridgecrest, CA to Denise Sargeant (Turner) and James Sargeant.

His mother remarried when Todd was a toddler and her new husband James Baker adopted him. Soon after they became a family of 4 when his sister Alyssa Baker (Mounce) was born.

Later in Todd’s life he once again was blessed with another sister Saydea Canann-Bontke when his mother married Richard Canann who was also an important father figure in Todd’s life.

Todd was an iron worker both in Texas and California. A job he was quite proud of and loved. While in CA Todd met Tamara Reid and her children Cheyenne, Drew, and Kyle. They were then blessed with their daughter Azilee Denise, who was Todd’s heart and soul. He loved all the children unconditionally.

Due to a near fatal auto accident nearly 9 years ago Todd suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. Which he fought an unbelievable battle maintaining as much independence as his body would allow.

Todd moved back to Texas to live with his mom and her husband Mike Turner. His mother, Mike and sister Alyssa were instrumental in getting Todd more independent and into a Shou Shu program studying at Red Dragon in Granbury which improved his balance, stability and self esteem, earning his Orange Belt in Shou Shu and was so proud of his accomplishments. An extraordinary young man with a sense of humor that was unbelievable and a warmth and compassion for his family and friends.

Todd is survived by his mother, Denise Turner and husband Mike, adopted father James Baker, daughter Aizlee Denise Sargeant- Baker, sisters, Alyssa Baker-Mounce, Saydea Canann- Bontke, Jennifer Sargeant-Funden, Jamie Sargeant-Maier, Bailey Sargeant-Kiewel, and Mary Sargeant.
