Walton D. "Bud"Winslow, 88, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020 in Granbury. Service: 2 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2020 at Wiley Funeral Home. Interment: Acton Cemetery. Memorials: Diabetes Foundation.
Bud was born October 25, 1931 in Henderson, Iowa to Clifford Walton and Helen Morgan Winslow. He graduated from Omaha Technical High School in 1950 and joined the U.S. Air Force where he served for three years. He married Joan Eckerman on July 14, 1951 in Omaha, Nebraska. She passed away on November 28, 1998. Bud retired from British Petroleum (formerly Standard Oil Co. of Ohio) in 1993. He met Marian McIntire and they married in 2002.
He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Granbury. He was preceded in death by his first wife; and a sister, LaVonne.
Survivors: Wife of 17 years, Marian C. Winslow; sons, Steve Winslow and wife Traci and Jeff Winslow and wife Alma; grandson, Shawn Winslow and wife Jenifer; greatgranddaughter, Mikayla Wheeler; and great-grandson, Conner Winslow.
