William Andrew Palmer

William Andrew Palmer of Granbury, formally a long time resident of Ben-brook, Texas, passed away peacefully after a short illness. To all that knew him, Bill was born in Burnside, PA to Kenneth Palmer and Lydia Roland Palmer.

Bill graduated from Arlington Heights HS in 1950 upon which he enlisted in the United States Army. From there he began a long career as a Tool & Die maker with General Dynamics, then to Bell Helicopter where he retired in 1993. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting. He particularly enjoyed traveling the states with his wife, Marilyn, of whom preceded him in death and after 57 years of marriage.

Bill is survived by sons Bill Palmer Jr and Mike Palmer (Susan), grandsons Justin Palmer, Michael Palmer (Sunny), Josh Palmer, Eden Palmer (Janet) and Steven DiTommaso (Deena), great-grandsons Kieren, Ellis, Noah and Avett. He is also survived by his sister Nancy Strickland and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on October 26, 2019 at 12 pm at the Granbury Church of Christ in Granbury, Texas.
