AUXILIARY FUNDRAISER BENEFITS EMERGENCY SERVICE VOLUNTEERS IN PECAN

More than 200 people enjoyed pancakes and all the trimmings last weekend at the Pecan Plantation Volunteer Fire Department/Emergency Medical Service Auxiliary’s morning fundraiser. Held in an airplane hangar at Planeview Park, the successful day grossed almost $2,000 from pancake sales and raffle prize sales in anticipation of the June 24 auxiliary sponsored golf tournament.

The musical duo JetBlacq, which consists of Pecan residents Rebecca and Frank Faiola, entertained the diners with a variety of music, including some rousing Patriotic tributes. The auxiliary thanks everyone who attended because all proceeds benefit our neighborhood’s fire and medical emergency responders.
