LAKE GRANBURY MEDICAL CENTER

After a long hiatus during the COVID pandemic, Lake Granbury Medical Center has reopened its popular community activity center: Healthy Connections.

Located at 1321 Water's Edge Drive in Granbury, Healthy Connections is the hub of healthy activities for the residents of Granbury and surrounding communities. Healthy Connections offers health and well-being programs that appeal to all adults.

"We offer everything from Tai Chi and Chair Yoga to physician talks and a variety of exercise classes," states Curt M. Junkins, CEO, of Lake Granbury Medical Center. "And because of our commitment to the health of our community, these programs are free or may have a nominal fee to cover certain activities."

With more than 2,000 current members, Healthy Connections operates Monday through Friday to bring entertaining, healthy, and fun activities to Granbury.

"The scope and diversity of the program are key," mentions Cory Johnson, Healthy Connections advisor. "Not only do we provide daily, scheduled events, but we take it a step further and offer highlighted programs such as Safe Trick or Treat Night (October 28 – 7 p.m.) as well as Game Days and local business presentations."
