HOOD COUNTY TEXAS A&M AGRILIFE EXTENSION SERVICE

London Fair joined Hood County AgriLife Extension effective September 2021. She’s from Dublin, Texas, a graduate of Tarleton State, and has been a county extension agent for the past two years in Burnet County.

A multi-county Landowner Program Series will be held Tuesday, May 24, featuring Adam Henry, a USDA wildlife damage management biologist. He will be presenting information on feral hog management.

Henry will be available as well as agriculture and natural resources agents from Hood, Somervell and Johnson counties to answer questions from those who attend.

The location of this program will be at the Somervell Citizen’s Center at 209 S.W. Barnard St. in Glen Rose.

Please RSVP to the Hood County Extension Office by calling 817-579-3280 by Monday, May 23.

One CEU will be granted at the end of the program.

Check-in for the program will open at 5:30 p.m. The educational program is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.

The program, while providing valuable information, is open to everyone and will be delivered at a value of $20 a person or $30 per couple.

Those attending can expect detailed information to help develop a quality plan for managing brush and pastures on their property.

This all contributes to yet another unique and valuable education opportunity to engage with our program speaker and their topics.

The event is hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension New Landowner Committee in Hood, Johnson and Somervell counties.

Note: Individuals with disabilities who require an auxiliary aid, service or accommodation in order to participate in any AgriLife Extension activity are encouraged to contact the County Extension Office for assistance five days prior to the activity.
