On Friday, the Granbury Pirates exercised a season’s worth of frustration in a 74-28 win over Saginaw Chisholm Trail.
Granbury led 40-21 at the half and moved the ball at will on offense. The Pirates earned their first District 3-5A Division I win of the season, moving to 2-6 (1-5 in district)
For head coach Chad Zschiesche and his players, the win felt long overdue.
“It was a lot of fun,” Zschiesche said. “And the kids deserved it – they continue to do everything we ask them to do.
