Ten seniors departed the Granbury basketball program last year, leaving the Pirates with three returning varsity players.
Granbury also switched into District 5-5A, which features Mansfield Timberview, ranked No. 3 in Class 5A in Dave Campbell’s Texas Basketball rankings, along with No. 22 Crowley.
Pirate head coach David Breazeale said his team is well aware of the challenges ahead.
