The Granbury High School Stowaways dance and drill team won sweepstakes in both the team and officer category at the Showtime International Texas Championship in late February at Mansfield Legacy High School.

The officers and team won Judges’ Awards for scores of 90 or higher, along with a Champion Circle recognition. The officer group captain Vanshika Vagashia, sophomore lieutenants Lu Johns De La Garza and Hannah Rogers - won first place and a Supreme Award for a pom routine and were second in jazz.

The team was first runnerup Grand Champion in its division, and won Best in Category and the Supreme Award for their prop routine.
