Tolar track competes at Hamilton

Tolar track and field brought home plenty of medals from the Hamilton Extraco Relays last Thursday.

Brett Jackson won the varsity boys’ lone gold with a time of 15.28 in the 110 meter hurdles. Alicia Hamm won two golds for the girls, posting a 15-8.75 in the long jump and a 12.96 in the 100 meters. Emma Brown added another gold with a 1:06.78 in the 400 meters.

Silver medalists for the boys included Reece Robinson in the triple jump (39-8.25) and Colton Tuggle in the long jump (20-2). The 4x400 relay team for the Lady Rattlers also won second.

Dieuner Bonnell won bronze for the boys with a 2:13.09 in the 800 meters. Austin Carter took third in the 3200 meters with a time of 5:37. 75 and Jackson won his second medal with a 43.43 in the 300 meter hurdles to finish third.

Kaitlyn Morphew finished third behind teammate Hamm in the 100 meters with a 13.85. Avery McClain added another bronze with a 9-06 mark in the pole vault.

Tolar will host the Tolar Rattler Relays this Thursday.
