When Hood County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a burglary in progress call Saturday afternoon, April 24, in the 6400 block of Sonora Drive, they found an arrest, of softs, in progress.

“Deputies discovered the homeowner had Kaleb Gray Schellhorn held at gunpoint for entering his home without permission,” stated Lieutenant Johnny Rose.

Schellhorn, 29, was arrested and charged with a second-degree felony count of burglary of a habitation. His bond was set at $20,000.

Rose noted Monday morning that Schellhorn was still in jail, and the case remains under investigation.
