AVIVA Granbury, an independent living center, assisted living center, and memory care center for seniors celebrated the completion of its renovations at a celebration that featured a ribbon cutting Dec. 7.

Although the Cresson bypass project had previously been scheduled to be completed by the summer of 2024, a recent update from the Texas Department of Transportation has confirmed the long-awaited project will not be officially completed until late 2025.

Joy was overflowing for Tammie Baker, her daughter Hannah Kirkpatrick, Hannah’s daughters Arrow and Arabella Grace and their volunteers, not to mention the happy recipients of Operation Joy on Saturday, Dec. 2. This was the first distribution day for the newly formed nonprofit.
