Bluff Dale woman dies after crash near Tolar

A 43-year-old woman from Bluff Dale was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-vehicle accident that happened at about 4 p.m. on Tuesday near Tolar.

DPS Sgt. Richard Hunter stated in an email to the HCN that a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle “was traveling east on U.S. 377 and the driver, Sheri Ann Holmes Dove, 43, of Bluff Dale, failed to see the vehicle in front of her stopped. The stopped vehicle, a 2012 GMC Yukon driven by Larry G. Stewart, of Granbury, was waiting to make a left turn onto Campbell Road. The Yamaha struck the rear of the GMC. Dove was pronounced dead at the scene. Stewart was not injured.”

Hunter noted that no other information is currently available.
