Arlington man charged with second-degree felony

Eric Lee Thompson, a 43-year-old Arlington man, was arrested by Sheriff's Office deputies at about midnight Wednesday and charged with a second-degree felony count of possession of a controlled substance, according to Lt. Johnny Rose. Thompson "was found to be in possession of over 57 grams of GHB liquid and under 2 ounces of marijuana," during a traffic stop at East Hwy 377 and Old Granbury Road in Cresson. Rose stated. Bond was set at $!5,000 for the GHB possession and $1,000 for the Class B misdemeanor marijuana count.
