Authorities seeking help in finding girl, 15

Posted

If anyone has information on where a 15-year-old Hood County resident named Danielle Sabella Ballez may be located, please call the Hood County Sheriff’s Office at 817-579-3307 to share it so that the girl — who was reported as a runaway early on the morning of Friday, Oct. 7 — can be returned to her home. That’s according to a news release from Lt. Joshua Lane with the Sheriff’s Office.

Ask to speak to Investigator Guy Reynolds, or tips can be provided to Crime Stoppers (817-573-8477).

The news release states:

“On Friday, 10-7-2022 at about 7:24 a.m., Hood County Sheriff’s Office responded to 2507 Smokerise Trail, in Canyon Creek Subdivision, to take a runaway report. Deputies made contact with the runaway’s mother, Dana Ballez, who informed them that Danielle Sabella Ballez (15 YOA) had left the residence, on foot and without a phone, earlier in the night, around 2:30 a.m.

“Deputies were not provided any leads, so they followed up with leads from previous time Danielle (ran) away, however did not lead to any other information. Hood County Sheriff’s Office later received information that Danielle may be in Cleburne, Texas, so investigators have been working with Cleburne (Police Department) to locate Danielle, but have not had any success locating her.”

Lane noted that “there is no information to indicate that Danielle is “in danger,” and “This appears to be the fourth time” she has ran away in 2022.

The description of Danielle Ballez provided by the Sheriff’s Office states that she is a white female, 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing 93 pounds. She has red hair, brown eyes, and two small cross tattoos near her thumb on her left hand, Lane noted. It is unknown what clothing she was wearing when she ran away.
