A gas line project near the square will cause traffic to be detoured for a couple of days next week.
According to Granbury Communications Manager Jeff Newpher, beginning Monday, July 10, westbound traffic on West Pearl Street leaving the square will detour around the gas line project.
He said that drivers on West Pearl will make a right onto North Thrash, a left onto West Bridge, a left on North Hannaford, then a right to rejoin traffic on West Pearl.
Newpher said the detour will affect only westbound drivers. Motorists driving eastbound toward the square will not be diverted.
The detour is expected to last one or two days. The city asks that drivers please use caution in the area where crews will be working.
