Posted

After a two-year hiatus caused by COVID-19, the Granbury High School All Class Reunion is returning to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the class of 1972 from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, at Granbury Middle School, 2000 Crossland St.

Lunch will be catered by Cotton Patch and will include chicken fried chicken, sides, roll, dessert and a drink.

Cost for the lunch is $18 per person if pre-registered and $20 if registering at the door. If an individual is attending but not eating, cost is $10 per person.

The registration fee will go toward lunch, which is $10 a plate, security and custodian fees to GHS ($350) and the remainder of the proceeds to the GHS Ex-Student Association Scholarship Fund.

“We’ll be honoring the class of 1972 on their 50th year and will also specially recognize the classes of 1970 and 1971 since we were unable to meet to celebrate their 50th years,” said Joyce Dorsey, president of the GHS Ex-Students Association via email. “We already have registrations from as far back as the class of 1956!”
