A 40-year-old man who resides in Oak Trail Shores was arrested Thursday morning on a third-degree felony charge of deadly conduct after Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of shots fired in the 3100 block of Springtime Street in Thorp Spring.

Adrian Carl Lopez “allegedly shot several rounds into a travel trailer during a mental health crisis he was having,” according to a news release from Lt. Johnny Rose.

No one was injured during the incident, which was called in to 911 at about 7:30 a.m. Rose said the travel trailer was occupied at the time, but it is “unknown if (Lopez) was familiar with the owner.”

Rose also noted that deputies found Lopez in possession of a pistol, and faces another third-degree felony count — unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

Bond has not been set for either charge, according to Rose.
