Sheriff: Cresson man charged with first-degree felony meth possession

A 30-year-old Cresson man was arrested by Hood County Sheriff’s Office deputies during a traffic stop Wednesday and was booked into the Hood County Jail on a first-degree felony methamphetamine possession charge, according to Lt. Johnny Rose.

Michael Allen Dueling Jr. was stopped near the intersection of State Highway 171 and Altoona Street in Cresson at about 4 p.m., Rose stated in an email.

“During the stop Michael Allen Dueling Jr. was found to be in possession of over 22 grams of meth,” Rose stated.

The charge Dueling is facing is manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $75,000.
