Granbury's Mason Lewis wins 5A girls golf state championship

Granbury High School junior Mason Lewis won the UIL Class 5A girls golf state championship Tuesday at White Wing Golf Club in Georgetown with a two-day total score of 140. Lewis shot 68 Monday and 72 on Tuesday. The state runner-up, Tiffany Cao of Midlothian, finished one stroke behind Lewis, at 141, and Julia Vollmer of San Antonio Alamo Heights was third with a 142.
