Following the success of its first The Voice of Granbury fundraiser last winter, the Kiwanis Club presents Audition Night at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26 at Gran-bury Live on the square. The 14 competitors at Audition Night are vying for three spots in The Voice of Granbury main event in January. For Audition Night, each singer will perform one song, followed by a round of audience voting. The top seven vote-getters will sing a second song, followed by another round of audience voting. Audience members will be given three tokens to cast as votes for their choice and may do so in either round. Unlimited additional tokens will be available for $10 each. Contestants for Audition Night include Shane Brooks, Michelle Winters, Tee Etheridge, Jim Largent, Dina Mills, Shelly Sexton, David Cook, Lizz Schellhorn, D’Ann Tisdale, Kacey Mann, Jack Southern, Tara Lynch, Randal Gentry and Hannah Swaim. Tickets are $35 and available at available at www.thenewgranburylive.com.The fundraisers help support scholarships and various charitable endeavors of the Granbury Kiwanis Club.
