Billy Williams 86, of Granbury passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020. Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 5, 2020, Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury, Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park, Visitation: 6:00 PM -8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 4, 2020, Wiley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church. He loved his church and the people, but due to weakness and illness he wasn't able to attend for years. Pallbearers: Chris Buttz, Justyn Booth, Cameron Booth, Conner Williams, Ross Williams and Teighan Williams.

Billy was born on February 16, 1934 in Ladonia, Texas, the son of Allen and Lotty Williams. Later the family moved to Red Oak, Texas that Billy loved so much. After marrying Mazelle Musser on December 19, 1953, they remained in Red Oak until retirement.

After retirement he and his wife moved to Granbury, Texas, where they were blessed to live several good years. Billy retired from Bank of America after 30 years in the Corporate Trust department. While at the bank, he received several awards for perfect attendance. He also owned a Barber Shop that he worked at part time for several years.

Billy loved country music and his guitars. For years, he played "Amazing Grace"before retiring to bed; until weakness and tiredness took over his life post polio. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Jimmy and Ray, and his daughter; Cindy Buttz that was loved so much by the family.

Billy is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mazelle Williams, son; Curtis Williams of Frisco, Texas, daughter; Connie Robinson and husband Auston, seven grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters; Marlene and husband Ronald, of Houston, Texas, and Peggy and husband Charles of Midlothian, Texas.

Our hearts go out to Solaris Hospice for all the wonderful care. What a blessing to have them and so many good friends were made that will never be forgotten.
