Freddie Pundt

Freddie Pundt, age 84, entered in to the presence of his Lord on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Baylor Scott and White Medical Plano while surrounded by his family. He was born in 1935 to the late Fred Pundt, Sr. and Anna Mae Pundt. He married the love of his life Madie Jackson in his hometown of Riesel, TX in 1953.

Freddie retired from TU Electric in 1990, after 38 years of service. In his retirement years, he stayed busy volunteering with Meals on Wheels and part time employment with Eagle Auto Parts. He served as deacon of First Baptist Church in Granbury where he attended for over 45 years. He was a man of God, a loving and devoted husband, and amazing father who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 66 years, Madie Pundt, daughters: Sherry Freeman and husband Michael Freeman of BruceVille Eddy, Rhonda Williamson and husband Darryl Williamson of Greenville and Michelle Wright and husband Russell Wright of Addison, four grandchildren: Ryan Paschal and Tara Paschal, Andrea Praesel and David Fitzpatrick, six great-grandchildren: Kelley and Kinley Praesel, Eve and Anabelle Fitzpatrick and twins Jax and Lexi Paschal.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM, followed by funeral services at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Granbury, 1851 Weatherford Hwy, Granbury, TX 76048. Interment to follow at Holly Hills Memorial Park.
