Karan Enlow

Karan Enlow, 64, passed away Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019 in Fort Worth. A visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019 at noon followed by a Celebration of Life service at 1 p.m., all at the First United Methodist Church in Granbury where she was a longtime member. Light refreshments will be provided at the visitation.

Karan was born August 24, 1955 in Corsicana to Hugh and Tommye Hiler. She married her high school sweetheart Roger Enlow on Feb. 7, 1976 in Granbury. Karan retired from Granbury ISD after an expansive teaching career. She taught English and coached middle school girls basketball and track. She was Emma Roberson Elementary's P.E. teacher for many years.

Her life was devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren. Karan was the gracious matriarch of her family and touched countless lives with her kindness. She enjoyed reading, swimming, walking and hosting family gettogethers. She was preceded in death by her sister-in -law, Darlene Hiler.

Survivors: Husband, Roger Enlow; son, Jeremy Enlow and wife Julie; daughter, Kayla Peacock and husband Quinn; grandchildren, Noah En-low, Libby Enlow, Clara En-low, Kipper Peacock and Zeke Peacock; brothers, Randy Hiler and Jimmy Hiler and wife Debbie.

Memorial contributions may be made to The WARM Place in Fort Worth. The WARM Place provides peer-support groups for children and their families after the death of a loved one.
