Paul Henry Mayo

Paul Henry Mayo age 89 of Granbury, Texas went home to be with his Lord on Sunday January 26, 2020. Service: 10:00 A.M. Thursday January 30, 2020, Pecan Baptist Church, Granbury; Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday January 29, 2020, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury; Interment: 2:30 P.M. Thursday January 30, 2020, Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fort Worth.

Paul was born on February 18, 1930 in Stephenville, Texas to George and Juanita Mayo. He married the love of his life Grace Story Mayo on Feb 28, 1953 in Weatherford, Texas.

He loved the Lord, his family, music, gardening and fishing. His passion was working with the youth and helping new churches. Paul loved his Texas Ranger Baseball Team; and was a huge fan. He was preceded in death by his parents: George Paul Mayo and Juanita Wright Mayo; sisters: Ruby Nance, Fern Lollar; brother: Jerry Don Mayo; son: Quincey Mayo; daughter: Yavonne Wilson; brothers-in-law: Jerry Wayne Randolph, Ronnie Hollar; daughters-in-law: Billie Brown and Sharon Mayo.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 67 years: Grace Mayo; son: Ronnie Brown; daughters: Gloria Ansley and husband Jim, Paula Bower and husband Kyle; son-in-law: Mike Wilson and wife Wendy; 12 grandchildren, 27 greatgrandchildren, 8 greatgreat grandchildren; sisters: Gaylen Randolph, Jo Hollar; brother-in-law: Richard Nance; sister-inlaw: Mildred Mayo; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
