I am thankful for all the blessings that come in real estate

KNIEPER REAL ESTATE

Pam Knieper, Broker/Owner of Knieper Real Estate, is and has been the #1 Top Producer for more than 15 years in Hood County and running. She is known as the Waterfront Expert and the Authority on Real Estate.

As we prepare for the Thanksgiving Holiday, I cannot help but reflect on all the things we have to be thankful for this year.  I have been blessed with a beautiful and loving family, good health, and a successful and fulfilling career in Real Estate. There are a million personal things I could talk about in this article, but today I want to focus on what I am thankful for regarding Real Estate.

Beyond the obvious financial gains, I have met and made lifelong friends while helping people find their new forever home or weekend getaway. It is amazing how quickly you can get to know people while riding in a car for two or three days while searching for Real Estate. By the time you get to the closing table, strong and lasting friendships are built, and that is something I have so enjoyed throughout all these years of working with buyers and sellers.

Being in control of my time and space is another blessing this career in Real Estate has afforded me. Don’t misunderstand, Real Estate can be very demanding of your time and attention. I have given up a lot of Saturday afternoons on the lake to help customers and clients, but at the end of the day I am in control of my schedule. This was especially beneficial when my children were still in school. I was able to schedule my business activities around their school activities, and when I was not with clients, I was able to work from home rather than being forced to go into an office. I can recall multiple times when I had clients in the car with me when it was time to pick the kids up from school. Not once did I ever have a client complain about that, on the contrary, they truly embraced the opportunity to meet and have a conversation with my children.

I own my own business! That may sound like I am bragging, I promise that is not my intent, but being able to say that gives me such a sense of accomplishment. Becoming a Broker and starting my own company, without the safety net of a franchise office, was a huge step in my career. It was also a wee tiny bit scary. It paid off, and now I will brag a little, when I tell you that both of my children, Brandon and Whitney, have grown into expert REALTORS®. Their contributions to Knieper Realty are significant, and they have become an integral part of the business.

Finally, and now I am definitely bragging! Have you noticed the two adorable children in our recent advertisements? Those two cuties are my grandchildren, Stella and Shepherd, and while they are still too young to show houses or write contracts, they too are doing their part to ensure the continued success of our “Growing Family Business.”  For all these reasons and so much more, I am thankful.
