Academy, Hobby Lobby officially on their way

Academy Sports + Outdoors and Hobby Lobby are now officially coming to Granbury, and should be around the fall of 2026, according to Mayor Jim Jarratt.

Granbury Planning and Zoning Commission recommended the zoning approvals for the two retail outlets earlier this year, with Granbury City Council approving the zoning in September. The development will be in the 4100 block of E. U.S. Highway 377 — directly across Highway 377 from First National Bank.
