The Hood County Sheriff's Office, along with the Texas Department of Public Safety-Ranger Division, has arrested Richard Anthony Metten for the murder of Andrea Stinson, Sheriff Roger Deeds announced Friday afternoon.
In an email to the Hood County News, Deeds wrote that Metten would be arraigned by a justice of the peace Saturday morning.
Stinson was found deceased in a shed on Metten's property in November 2020.
"Since that time, investigators have worked tirelessly to bring a successful resolution to this case, and today's arrest marks a notable step in that progress," Deeds stated.
