Bobbie Warren Brownlee (Nana), a retired teacher and librarian, passed away peacefully in Granbury April 9, 2026. Born in Gorman, Texas, to Otha V. and Grace Warren, Bobbie grew up in DeLeon, Texas. She graduated from DeLeon High School in 1953 and earned degrees in Education at Tarleton State College and Texas Tech University. She married Charles Brownlee Jr. Aug. 31, 1957, in DeLeon and began her long teaching career in Azle, Texas. The couple moved back to DeLeon after the birth of their daughter, Patti, eventually moving to Amarillo, Lubbock and Austin.
Bobbie was also active in Delta Kappa Gamma, Wednesday Woman’s Club, Pecan Plantation Woman’s Club and Granbury Opera Guild, holding several offices in each.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brownlee Jr.; her parents, her brother Bennie V. Warren; and her beloved granddaughter, Jennifer Berberich.
She is survived by her daughter, Patti Berberich (Tim) of Granbury; several nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, at the Acton Methodist Church beginning at 11 a.m.
A reception will be held following the service hosted by the Bible Explorers class.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, Pecan Plantation VFD or Friends for Animals in Bobbie’s memory.
Services are under the care of Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas.
