Charlotte Marie Fowler, 81, of Granbury, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home May 18, 2026. She was born Dec. 18, 1944, in Knox City, Texas, to Frank and Esther Kinman.
Charlotte married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Bobby Fowler, April 11, 1964. Together, they built a life centered on faith, family and love, and were blessed with one daughter, Shelly. Charlotte and Bobby shared many happy years golfing together and enjoying life’s simple pleasures.
A devoted member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Charlotte’s faith was an important part of her life. She found joy in spending time with family, annual mother-daughter trips to Las Vegas with Shelly, and relaxing evenings watching Pawn Stars with her faithful and protective dachshund, Chip.
Charlotte worked as a paralegal and greatly enjoyed working alongside her daughter for more than 29 years. She valued the friendships and relationships she built throughout her career.
More than anything, Charlotte treasured her grandchildren, Taylor and Brendan. She was immensely proud of all of their accomplishments and never missed an opportunity to celebrate them. Her love, encouragement, and unwavering support will remain a lasting gift to her family.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Esther Kinman; her sister, Jeanette Kinman; and her beloved husband, Bobby Fowler.
She is survived by her daughter, Shelly O’Toole, and husband Mike; her grandchildren, Taylor Sewell and husband Alex, Brendan O’Toole and wife Emma; along with a host of cherished cousins and her favorite aunt.
Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 28, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1400 N. Meadows Drive, Granbury.
