The county’s Brush Yard will be closed on May 24 and on May 31 so that “much needed” repairs and maintenance can be done to the grinder, according to Road Operations Director Donald Linney.
The Brush Yard, located at 1510 Weatherford Highway, is open to the public on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. until noon.
Cost to dispose of tree limbs, brush and leaves ranges from $30-$50 depending on the size of the trailer or dump beds. Logs cannot be larger than 18 inches in diameter and 16 inches in length. No stumps are accepted.
The Brush Yard will reopen on Wednesday, June 7, Linney said.
