The Lipan Lady Indians were a perfect 11-of-11 from the free throw line during the second overtime period, claiming a 67-55 state semifinal victory against Gruver Monday night, March 2, in Slaton.
The Lady Indians (34-5) played for a fourth state title — the first since 2023 — at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at the Alamodome in San Antonio. They faced the winner of Martin’s Mill and Goldthwaite, who played Tuesday, March 3.
