After a month-long filing period, the window to file for the 2024 March primaries has officially closed, as more than 65 Hood County residents applied for candidacy in next year’s election.
Although some candidates had issues getting an appointment to file their paperwork with the Hood County Republican Party during the beginning of the filing period, they were eventually able to successfully file for candidacy.
